Mariyah Gray is a 13 year old author, artist, and entrepreneur from Waukegan, Illinois. She’s written two books so far. The titles of her books are, The Adventures of the Power Twins and My Crazy Wacky Year of School. I had the privilege of meeting Mariyah two years ago at the Black Excellence Awards Gala in 2020. She was awarded a grant that night for her entrepreneurial efforts. After witnessing her receiving her award, I was intrigued by her work and humble spirit. I wanted to learn more about her and share with the world more about who Creatively Mariyah is.
I’m grateful that I was able to connect with Mariyah to get a little more insight about her and her entrepreneurial journey so far. She took the time to answer a few of our questions so check it out!
